Laser Electrical, part of the £50M collective Laser Group, is an independent, employee-owned electrical contractor operating within the residential, commercial, education, and public sectors throughout London and the South East. Founded in 2001 by Steve Baker and now led by MD Jon McFarlane, the company boasts a team of over 150 experts based in Chelmsford, Essex. They are recognised for their strong partnership approach, extensive skills and experience, and cost-effective services.

The company has grown significantly, achieving a £23M turnover and embracing new technologies and safety practices. Laser Electrical has a history of strategic growth, including the formation of separate divisions for residential and commercial projects, the incorporation of Laser M&E, and the opening of a second office in Chelmsford.

A significant milestone was the formation of Laser EOT in 2019, transitioning the company to employee ownership. Further expansion saw the creation of the EV Charging division in 2020, followed by Laser Electrical Central in 2021, Laser Electrical East Anglia in 2022, and Laser London in 2023. This growth has led to a team of over 150 staff.
