Rhine Street Subway

Infilling of the underpass using structural polystyrene blocks and specially designed structural concrete. A new pedestrian/cycleway and signalised crossing was installed, featuring two new mass arms to enhance safety and accessibility and improving the surrounding area with paving and landscaping.

Laneside Farm

S278 works included carriageway excavation and formation, along with the initiation of service diversions and the relocation of existing utilities. The project also involved the construction of new footways, drainage systems, and new kerb lines. Additionally, two new pedestrian islands with tactile crossings were installed to enhance accessibility, alongside the creation of a new bus layby to improve public transport infrastructure.

Scholes lane works consisted of Carriageway widening works and the introduction of dedicated left- and right-turn lanes, along with a new signalised junction, new bus layby, new UTC and electrical ducts and chambers and combined drainage curbs and outlets with new shared cycleway/ pedestrian footway.

A629 Phase 1B

Carriageway winding, featuring a newly constructed Link Road with newly installed traffic signals, a Link Bridge, and a roundabout. That included the installation of new kerbs lines, HB2 kerbs, bridge deck kerbs, beany kerbs, and CKD outlets, along with additional drainage outlets.
