Kortex

Kortex, developed by Orkora, is an infrastructure-intelligence platform designed to screen potential sites for large grid connections, including data centres, generation projects, and storage assets. It operates by querying a comprehensive graph of the world's power system, integrating data on assets, grid capacity, prices, interconnection queues, ownership, water risk, and geopolitical exposure. This allows users to rapidly assess candidate sites, counterparties, and portfolios against multiple critical domains simultaneously, providing evidence-based verdicts within minutes.

The platform's core application is large-load siting, enabling teams to eliminate weak candidates before committing to costly utility, engineering, or property studies. It traverses six key domains: installed dispatchable low-carbon capacity, queue congestion, wholesale price, EHV topology, water stress, and counterparty ownership. The output is a screened shortlist where each site receives a traceable, dated verdict, supported by a retrievable receipt.

Kortex focuses on screening current-state compound risk and competitive dynamics, rather than forecasting, complementing existing research platforms with its auditable and reproducible data layer.
