Bespoke, high end luxury 72 bedroom nursing home. Works included the demolition of two existing properties. A two phase construction sequence was chosen to minimise disruption to neighbouring residents. The site received ground improvement through 'vibro' stone columns and contiguous piled retaining walls were constructed to form new basements and sunken gardens along with reinforced concrete basement floor slabs, walls and capping beams. The four storey building with basement is a load bearing masonry and steelwork structure with precast concrete hollow core floors and timber roof construction.
