James Wilding Joinery is a family-run bespoke joinery company based in Rylstone, near Skipton. Combining traditional craftsmanship with modern manufacturing precision, our experienced team works with homeowners, architects, builders and trade professionals throughout Yorkshire and surrounding areas. Founded from a passion for traditional craftsmanship and considered design, the business has grown from a small workshop into a dedicated team, maintaining an emphasis on quality, integrity and personal service.

We are a FENSA Registered Installer, an Accoya® Approved Manufacturer and a member of the British Woodworking Federation, supporting our commitment to professional standards. Every project begins with understanding the property and the customer's requirements. From timber selection and proportions to glazing, architectural detailing, ironmongery and factory finishes, each specification is individually developed.

Our team combines traditional joinery skills with modern manufacturing techniques, with close attention given to the design, manufacture and finish of each piece. This considered approach allows us to develop bespoke joinery around the architecture, practical requirements and individual character of each property. Our commitment extends beyond manufacture, aiming to provide knowledgeable advice, clear communication and a personal service throughout each project.

We also support the future of our craft by working with Craven College in Skipton to support apprentice training. As a family-run Yorkshire business, we value the relationships we build and take pride in approaching every project with care and attention to detail.
