J L O'Rourke & Sons, Carpentry & Joinery Contractors based in Slough, Berkshire was founded by Larry O'Rourke in 1964. The business which started as a sole-trader was incorporated as a limited company in 1974 and over the decades, due to the entrepreneurship and dedication of Larry, has gained a reputation as one of the best labour-only subcontract carpentry firms in the South East region. We offer a comprehensive range of carpentry and joinery services, including general carpentry, joists, roofs, 1st fix, 2nd fix, finals, ironmongery, cladding, decking, and porches.

Our dedicated team of surveyors, contracts managers, foremen, and carpenters are fully-focused from the initial tender stage to contract completion to ensure a successful outcome. We also provide a comprehensive crane service, with a team of well-qualified and highly trained appointed persons, lift supervisors, and slinger signallers. Lift plans are provided for all crane lifts by highly experienced appointed persons.

Our commitment to quality control is demonstrated through our own QMS system, which operates hand-in-hand with developers' systems to ensure quality standards are met. Health and safety are paramount, with frequent safety visits by our safety officers, regularly reviewed RAMS, and training provided to all operatives to ensure all work is carried out in a safe environment.
