J. E. Stacey & Co. Ltd are privately owned, independent building and civil engineering contractors with a reputation for delivering high quality projects and outcomes.

First established in 1932, we are capable of delivering a full design and build service for all commercial, industrial and domestic projects. We have extensive experience in heritage and listed building projects (grade I, II and II*), including the conservation of local heritage from private homes to public buildings. We retain a committed team of professional craftsmen skilled in working with specialist materials and techniques, including leadworkers and stone masons. We also have our own Joinery division where bespoke items can be crafted for heritage projects.

With a highly diverse client base, we have a wide range of experience in design and construction, facilities maintenance and project management. Our technical expertise and experience give us the confidence and capability to take on a large assortment of projects, from the small and simple to larger, more complex schemes. We approach all projects with the same determined professionalism, offering our best consultation and advice on all aspects and phases of the construction process. Our team is committed to providing ongoing training for all of our staff, encouraging the development of specific skills and we support apprenticeships in various trade disciplines.
