Ian Cannon Ltd is a family-run business that caters to domestic, industrial clients, and local authorities. More recently, their skills as installation engineers for flood defence solutions are becoming a large part of their business as extreme weather conditions prevail. Ian Cannon started this business in 2002, having previously worked in the plant hire and agricultural industry.
He has steadily built a reputation for good quality work and effective solutions for domestic and local authority clients. The business has been built around the growing demand for 'green' and small invasive solutions to more complex projects, especially in the flood defence and conservation fields. Gary Cannon joined his brother Ian's business as a partner in 2012, bringing over 26 years of experience in a wide range of groundwork's and civil engineering projects.
Like Ian, he has built up an enviable reputation for quality and cost-effective management. Ian Cannon Ltd can quote for any groundwork or civil engineering project, big or small. While predominantly catering for general groundwork services such as drainage, clearance, and construction, they also cater for clients who want cost-effective and reliable execution of their bespoke projects and are especially skilled in delivering green projects.
With a wide range of skills and experience, from small domestic projects to civil engineering, plus the relevant site management and safety credentials, few projects are out of their scope.

Environmentally friendly flood solutions are becoming a necessity as our weather patterns become more extreme. It's important that solutions have minimal impact on the surrounding area and with as little invasive impact as possible. Some of our projects require walls to retain banking in rivers and on hillsides, while we also create bridges that are in keeping with our customers requirements and also aesthetically pleasing.

We have undertaken many different projects over the years from retaining walls, drive ways, septic tank installation, shooting ranges, play areas, bridge construction, hard standing and wildlife fencing to name just a few.

Customers require many different types of projects and we are happy to quote for your bespoke project.

Having the right machinery and tools for any kind of work is a necessity. We not only own a wide range of environmentally friendly enabled diggers ourselves, but have access to other plant as required.
