Holmes Plant & Construction are a leading plant hire specialist and groundworks contractor based in East Anglia. With over 35 years' experience, we supply a range of machinery and civil engineering services to the domestic, public and private sectors from our base in Suffolk. Our business has two main operating divisions, Plant Hire and Groundworks, supported by a team of highly skilled machine operators, fitters and groundworkers.

We operate an extensive hire fleet consisting of excavators, dumpers, dump trucks and telehandlers to name a few. Our sister company Holmes Civils Ltd undertakes a range of civil engineering and groundworks projects from small domestic groundworks to large scale civils projects. Holmes Civils are able to offer comprehensive and competitive groundworks packages for both private and commercial sectors.

With years of experience in the construction industry we pride ourselves on providing a prompt, reliable and professional service individually tailored to meet our customers' needs. We can supply an extensive range of plant and machinery for hire throughout East Anglia, on both short and long-term periods. Our highly skilled operators hold CPCS and NPORS qualifications.

Our machinery is regularly maintained by our own team of highly skilled fitters who are able to provide on-site support to keep you moving. We are an experienced civil and groundworks contractor for both small and large-scale construction and civil engineering projects.
