Herringbone Restoration, established in 2010, is a building restoration and stonemasonry contractor specialised in working on historic buildings and heritage properties. The company is owned and run by experienced and highly motivated people who have a combined experience of 60 years in this specialised sector. We have been privileged to work upon some of the most important buildings in the country in a variety of environments such as cathedrals, churches, colleges, country estates and historic buildings.

Our reputation is built on working closely with architects, clients, designers and conservation officers. Using appropriate materials and traditional craftsmanship we achieve completed projects that complement the original building and realise the aspirations of our clients. We have the resources to draw upon the correct specialised craftsmen for each task, never compromising traditional craftsmanship, quality or professionalism.

The company was born out of a real passion for architecture and historic buildings. Using traditional skills combined with modern technology and an acute attention to detail, we always ensure that our work blends perfectly with existing work whilst complying with the essentials of Health & Safety building regulations. We have carried out many restoration projects on historic building, churches and listed monuments both large and small contracts.

We have long term relationships with carpenters, glaziers and lead workers so that we are able to offer a full restoration service as either a main contractor or specialist sub-contractor.
