Founded with a mission to empower individuals, particularly women, the organisation provides a safe and supportive environment for personal development. Their initiatives include Pendle Makerspace, offering access to creative equipment like laser cutters and 3D printers, alongside workshops in sewing, sign making, and product design.

The Rosie Project specifically empowers women through DIY and woodworking skills, fostering confidence and independence. Complementing these are the New Imp Studio for music and creative arts, and the Healing Hands Project, which offers therapies such as massage and reflexology alongside creative activities to support mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing.
