Godfrey & Hicks Builders was established in 1981 by the founding partners, Mark Godfrey and Jerry Hicks. The company undertakes a variety of projects, covering new build and refurbishment in both the public and private sectors. Their specialisms include Commercial, Community, Education, Equine, Listed Buildings, Housing, and Developments.

From the outset, the Directors' vision has been to offer value for money, quality workmanship, a high level of supervision, and a professional approach. This has allowed Godfrey & Hicks to develop a strong and diverse client base, evidenced by repeat business and word-of-mouth referrals. They have successfully undertaken a wide variety of projects, employing diverse building techniques and extensive experience working within 'live' sites and congested areas.

With over 40 employees across a multitude of disciplines, they offer professional expertise throughout the procurement and build process. The company also has an in-house joinery shop, providing control over production and offering joinery services to local builders and private customers.
