Gothic Townhouse Extension and Renovation

Belfast, County Antrim

Large extension with roof lantern and bifold doors added to this property as well as various renovations throughout this property in Belfast, County Antrim, modernising this home originally built in the 1890s. The work involved a careful blend of modern functionality and respect for the home's historic charm. Structural modifications included knocking down internal walls and installing structural steel to open up and strengthen the new space. A striking roof lantern was added to flood the interior with natural light, enhancing the sense of openness. We also fully renovated the existing rooms and carried out a high-spec bathroom refurbishment. Throughout the home, we laid bespoke oak flooring for a timeless finish and installed intricate mosaic tiles to add texture and style. Outdoors, we transformed the surrounding area with beautifully landscaped outdoor spaces, creating a seamless transition between the interior and exterior of the home. Repointing was carried out over the whole exterior and chimneys rebuilt to bring this older red brick home back to life.
