George Nicolson (Decorators) Ltd

George Nicolson's is a second-generation family business, established in 1972 by George Nicolson. The company has grown steadily, focusing for many years on the commercial market through redecoration of banks, public houses, hotels, large private houses, and offices, building a strong reputation for high standards. Over the past 25 years, they have branched out into principal contracting within the hotel, restaurant, public house, and small to medium-sized office markets, delivering the whole package to meet client standards, budgets, and programmes.

Acquiring Henderson & Paterson, a business formed in 1932, allowed George Nicolson's to expand into the residential and private markets. They strongly believe in training for growth throughout their workforce, including Health & Safety, First Aid, CDM, IT, trade, and people skills, alongside an apprenticeship policy. As an active member of the Scottish Decorators' Federation, they stay current with legislation and work closely with various industry organisations.

They also hold Once For All SSIP Accreditation, assuring clients of their robust health and safety systems.
