Knights Garden Centre

Chelsham (Surrey)

Construction of a 500m2 double span barrel roofed building connected onto the existing restaurant building and outdoor sales canopy. The new ground floor area has been utilised for additional restaurant seating, extension of the farmshop offering and to provide a display area for outdoor furniture. Ribbon windows were installed to provide widespread views over the adjoining outside sales area accessed via an automatic sliding entrance door.

Garsons Titchfield Garden Centre, New Toilet Block and Kitchen Refurbishment

Construction of a 130m2 extension to form a new toilet block area. The extension was formed from steel framework and composite cladded roof completed with brickwork walls to match the existing building. Internal fit out works included toilet cubicles system, duct panelling, vanity units, sanitaryware and feature wall tiling, vinyl flooring, mechanical heat recovery ventilation system and lighting scheme. Alterations to the existing car park layout were made which included construction of a precast concrete retaining wall, timber fencing works and new gravel surfacing. Upon completion of the new toilet block building, the existing toilet area was converted and amalgamated into the existing kitchen area to form a much larger kitchen space.

Garsons Esher Farm Shop

The Garsons Esher Farm Shop project comprised an extension and conversion of the existing retail building to form over 500m2 of new farm shop floor area including connection onto the existing farm shop food hall building along with a new lobby exit building and patterned external block paving surfacing. The new area was handed over to the Client for trading in Summer 2020

Fosseway Garden Centre, Storage Warehouse

This project was the first phase of a new storage warehouse facility. The 500m2 building consisted of a steel portal frame with composite roof and wall cladding, roller shutter door, steel pedestrian door and an insitu concrete slab. The building was fitted out with a LED lighting scheme designed and coordinated to suit the storage racking system layout. Concrete paving and stone hardstanding areas were constructed externally to provide access to the building from the Garden Centre's adjacent service yard area.

Ayletts Nurseries - Restaurant Refurbishment and External Seating Area

This project for our longstanding Client at Ayletts Nurseries of St Albans in early 2021 involved the complete overhaul and refurbishment of their existing kitchen and restaurant area including new catering equipment, bespoke furniture, feature wall panelling and a new 100m2 external seating area complete with granite paving and oak boarded fencing.
