We were asked to design an efficient heating system for one of the seminar rooms of this iconic grade II listed Victorian building. Existing low temperature hot water infrastructure was utlised to introduce a new underfloor heating circuit. New secondary pumps, associated controls and multi-zone leak detection systems were also installed and commissioned.
When a Japanese electronics manufacturer required a temperature and humidity control solution for their state of the art production facility, we worked in partnership with designers DCC Ltd. A new Air Handling Unit with DX cooling and heating was craned into position with treated air distributed via a perforated fabric duct within the facility.

As part of the Swiss Healthcare company's decarbonisation strategy, FOX Mechanical were tasked with removing any plant containing Ozone Depleting Gasses. After detailed design, we utilised R290 chillers to provide cooling to Comms Rooms and one of the UK's first Mitsubishi Electric R290 air-to-air split systems was used in the Security Lodge.

This Flexible Generation project in Essex required critical cooling of control rooms that would see 300MW of battery storage and up to 600MW of gas fired generation. We were appointed to design & install high-sensible cooling systems to pre-fabricated units. Battery storage is a front line defence for balancing the electricity network.

London's Square Mile
FOX Mechanical were appointed to carry out a Cat-A landlord upgrade in London's Square Mile. New Mitsubishi Electric Heat Recovery VRF systems and Nuaire Heat Recovery Units were installed, along with new high-end WC facilities. Due to site constraints, condensing units were stripped and rebuilt within a purpose built enclosure on the roof.

Developing a client-lead conceptual design, FOX Mechanical designed and delivered a complex upgrade scheme in the heart of London's Mayfair. New 4-pipe fan coil units and associated CHW and LTHW services were installed, chemically flushed and commissioned. New client bar, WCs and shower were also installed within the project scope.

Working on behalf of a confidential global bank, we were appointed to carry out thermal modelling and Stage-4 design for a full refurbishment. Daikin R32 VRV was selected to provide efficient comfort heating and cooling. Local MVHR units were installed to provide tempered fresh air for occupant comfort.
