Forric Homes is a second-generation family house builder with almost 35 years of experience across the North East. Founded in 1991 by Robert Forster, the name "Forric" short for "For Richard" was chosen as a personal pledge to quality and a promise to make the family proud. Today, Forric is led by Robert's two sons: Richard Forster, our Construction Director, who oversees all site operations and leads the delivery of every Forric home. With over two decades in the business, his leadership ensures that the Forric standard of craftsmanship is upheld on every project and met without compromise.

Thomas Forster, our Managing Director, who joined in 2019, holds a master's degree in Civil Engineering and brings a background in major infrastructure projects, including Crossrail and HS2. Alongside advanced training in land and planning from the Millbank Land Academy, his expertise brings in-house technical strength and strategic thinking, helping Forric unlock complex land opportunities and deliver design-led homes with clarity and confidence. We've built long-standing relationships with trusted trades and suppliers across all of our sites, because quality doesn't happen by accident, it comes from consistency, experience, and people who care. Every Forric home is made to last, with elevated specifications and thoughtful design choices that reflect how families live today.

But just as important is where we build. From rural courtyards to village settings, each of our small, carefully designed developments is shaped to suit its surroundings and strengthen the character and community of the area. We love working with buyers to personalise the finishes in their home, ensuring every detail feels considered and uniquely theirs. Since joining the team in 2025, Katy Forster has led our Sales, Marketing, and Design with a focus on thoughtful, detail-driven service throughout the buyer journey.
