Firth Construction is a well-established and rapidly growing building firm based in Presteigne, on the Welsh Borders, serving Powys, Herefordshire, Shropshire, and surrounding areas. We specialize in building modern, high-end, passive standard eco-buildings for both domestic and commercial clients. Utilizing the latest building techniques, we are equipped with the knowledge to execute high-performing, low-impact, low-energy buildings, priding ourselves on achieving high levels of finish both inside and out with unique minimalist detailing.

We work seamlessly with our sister company, Broadaxe Timber Frames, to deliver modern, high-end, passive standard eco-buildings. Broadaxe Timber Frames supplies and erects the timber frame structure, while Firth Construction oversees and manages all elements of the project, offering a turnkey solution from groundworks to full completion. Our Managing Director, Lewers Firth, founded the company with a background in cabinet making and carpentry, ensuring attention to detail is at the heart of our operations.

Pen Y Common, a project we were involved in, was awarded a RIBA National Award 2023 and four RIBA RSAW awards, including Welsh Architecture Award 2023, Conservation Award 2023, Small Project of the Year 2023, and Building of the Year 2023.
