Re-roofing works involving 800m2 of new slate and 280m2 of reclaimed slate. Slate type: Westmoreland Green Best Randoms. Works included stripping existing Westmoreland Slate, reslating the lower wing roofing, pre-holing, sizing and laying new Westmoreland Green slate in diminishing courses with banded courses to match existing roof finish. All associated lead work was carried out during the re-roofing works. Main Contractor: Advanced Building Contractors Ltd.

Full strip and retile of Cat B listed buildings with Redland Rosemary Clay Roof tiles, including underlay & battens, and Staggered Effect Clay Angle Ridge. Replaced all cast iron Gutters and partial replacement of Lead work.

West Boat House, Glasgow

Glasgow

Full strip and retile of the Cat B listed buildings situated on the River Clyde using Sandtoft Clay plain tile in Flanders colour. Extra headlap and the use of grace ice & watershield was installed to the shallower pitch at the eave to maintain the same tile finish all round. Winner of the NFRC 2022 roof tiling awards for this project.

Rumbling Bridge

Full strip and retile of the historic farmhouse building using Sandtoft Arcadia pan tile with Siga 120 slate at the eave to match the existing details. All cast iron gutters replaced and all associated lead work replaced during this project.
