Famella is a family-run organisation that specialises in high-specification refurbishments, conversions, extensions, and new builds, with a proven track record in the prime residential market. They undertake all forms of building works across various sectors, demonstrating a full understanding of what architects, structural engineers, and clients require from a contractor. Famella operates within key areas of expertise, comprehends the complexities of modern design, and is dedicated to successful project delivery.

They embrace the challenge of working with new materials, procuring modern designs, and incorporating design development as needed. Founded by Peter Carter in 1994, the company is now managed and owned by Tony Carter, who brings a strong design background from his time at ACP & YRM Architects. Tony joined Peter, who had over 50 years of construction experience, in April 2000, and consistently visits all sites.

The management team, including Mark Randall for estimating, Michael Bouzon and Owen Palmer for commercial and procurement, and Project Director Mike Edger with Dan Court and Jonathan Robinson for pre-project information and aftercare, ensures seamless project execution. All aspects are managed collaboratively with Tony Carter to meet programme objectives. Famella employs competent site agents hand-picked from their own workforce, supported by long-standing operatives.

While they handle most trades in-house, specialist subcontractors such as M&E contractors, glass specialists, and furniture makers have been trusted partners for many years.
