This long-term project formed part of a wider development, providing a high-voltage connection between a new substation and the housing estate's point of connection (POC). Scope of Works: EV-ready substation base and civils, Full HV cable pull from substation to POC, 1.3km of trenching and reinstatement, Works across grass verges, footways, and the carriageway, Traffic management and safe public access at all stages, Ongoing communication with residents to minimise disruption, Collaboration with multiple utility contractors, Wildlife protection during an ecological interruption. All works were completed in full compliance with Street Works Regulations, ISO standards, EUSR requirements.
