Scope of Works included: Street lighting including new park and ride developer sites, Electric vehicle charging points, Open space CCTV upgrade and link to central control room, New traffic signal junctions and refurbishments, Average speed cameras, Automatic number plate recognition (ANPR), Real time passenger information bus stops, Traffic signal prioritisation linked to bus operation (ITS), Weather station installs and monitoring, Landfill waste site equipment upgrades. Enerveo acted in a commissioning capacity to manage relationships with large specialist companies on behalf of the council, streamlining the reporting structure and acting as the single point of contact for the client.

Hampshire County Council Private Finance Initiative

Enerveo installed approximately 147,000 Son, Cosmopolis and PLL lanterns along with a full Central Management System (CMS) to all adopted streetlights and illuminated signs within the county. The works comprised of: Safe removal and disposal of existing street lighting columns, lanterns, and associated wiring in accordance with WEEE regulations, Installation of new columns and Son, Cosmopolis and PLL luminaires with CMS, Structural visual inspection and the provision of reports to the Council in accordance with ILP Technical Report 22, Collection of data and validation of existing inventory attribute information, Electrical testing in accordance with BS7671, HERS and NECEIC, Installation of a full CMS system, The provision of traffic management and control services necessary to safely complete the works, Secure storage of new apparatus, including a visual inspection for damage and security prior to installation, Ongoing fault report and repair including an emergency call out service.

Nottingham Council Private Finance Initiative

Nottingham

The scope was for the provision of street lighting services across the Nottingham city council area. The initial contract was for column and lantern replacement, followed by a maintenance contract for the assets. A key part of the contract is to work alongside existing operational council activities and maintain business as usual for Nottingham City council and the general public. There was also a requirement to work in conjunction with Western Power Distribution (WPD). The aim was to upgrade all street lighting owned by Nottingham City Council and ensure the equipment is fully functioning and in good working order. Additional repairs and maintenance are to be completed within the agreed SLA's set out in the contract. Annual service reports are completed and presented to stakeholders for feedback and continuous improvement plans produced and presented.
