The project has taken just over a year to build and was delivered in phases maintaining full access to the existing building and adjoining pharmacy. Worked through the 1st lockdown in April 2020, embracing new ways of working to maintain a Covid safe construction site.
The 2nd phase of construction work carried out by Lee Merrin and the 1st project for Elemental Build. The extension includes a new entrance area with check in facilities, 4 new consulting rooms, 2 treatment rooms and a clean and dirty utility room. Despite starting at the end of November 2017 and working through the worse winter in recent history the project was completed on time and in budget in May 2018.
A multi-phase GP surgery transformation carried out under a Design and Build Contract. This challenging project involved the construction of extensions to 3 sides of the building, most with restricted access. The works included significant structural remodelling and architectural refurbishment, it was carried out in 5 phases to maintain the normal operation of the building. Completed in April 2017.
