Elan MEP Ltd. was founded to meet the growing demand for independent client-side M&E advice, particularly in the Heat Networks and Communal Heating sectors due to proposed new regulations. Our principal has over 40 years of experience in the M&E Services industry, covering Mechanical and Electrical services, and Communal & District Heating.

He is an expert on MEP costs and has managed the procurement and conclusion of four ESCo schemes covering 3,500 dwellings. His recent focus has been on residential projects and five-star hotel projects, with extensive involvement in UK Energy Policy work for various Government Departments. We offer a range of services including M&E monitoring and advisory services, Heat Network Compliance (HNTAS) surveys, quality assurance checks, performance analysis, and optimisation studies.

We also provide Heat Network ESCo procurement advice and support for grant funding applications under Department for Energy Security & Net Zero schemes, such as the Green Heat Network Fund (GHNF) and the Heat Network Efficiency Scheme (HNES). Our expertise extends to Expert Determination and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) for M&E and Heat Network projects, addressing the complexities of modern building services engineering. We also conduct Decarbonisation Studies to reduce carbon emissions from building services and provide Performance Specifications, design schematics, and sketches for heat network optimisation and decarbonisation works.
