About from company website

Ecospheric is an award-winning sustainability consultancy that supports projects in achieving ambitious decarbonisation targets. We specialise in developing innovative solutions for complex passive house certified buildings, unique country houses (Paragraph 84e and Paragraph 139), and integrated energy strategies for large-scale developments. Our approach is holistic and evidence-based, with energy modelling forming the first step to inform design optimisation for thermal performance and sustainability.

Research is central to our mission to reduce environmental impact. We also engage in property development, incorporating the latest low-energy technologies and methodologies. Current developments include passive house premium certified dwellings, the zero-energy retrofit of a listed manor house, and the conversion of a historic barn to off-grid accommodation.

We are passionate about knowledge sharing, with team members advising on industry committees, speaking at universities, and offering CPDs to architectural practices. Our team comprises experts in energy modelling, carbon calculations, building services design, and sustainability. We support projects from every sector of the built environment, from heritage building retrofits to new-build residential and commercial projects, guiding them towards industry-recognised low energy and sustainability standards.
