East Cleveland Youth Housing Trust

East Cleveland Youth Housing Trust is dedicated to improving the lives of young people in East Cleveland by providing a network of affordable, supported accommodation and opportunities for personal development. The Trust also offers valuable training in construction-related trades through the renovation of empty properties and work on community buildings. Through its construction-based training programs, apprentices and young people gain practical experience in renovating, remodelling, and repairing buildings.

This hands-on approach prepares them for employment, develops essential life and social skills, and enhances their long-term prospects. The Trust undertakes various community works, including preserving disused properties and repairing community spaces, serving clients like Loftus Town Hall and Saltburn Scout Hut. The organisation also carries out building work on private residential properties, offering free quotations for services such as internal/external painting and decorating, fitting floors and windows, tiling, plastering, guttering, pointing, stud walls, joinery, damp works, dry lining, disabled access ramps, paving, bricklaying, and landscaping.
