Dovetail Homes was established in 1983 by Brian Harris and his wife Claire, beginning with the restoration of a historic Grade 2 listed cottage in Fletching, East Sussex. Their passion for property, combined with Brian's background in construction management, led to a journey of small, captivating new construction and renovation projects. Over time, the size and complexity of projects have increased, with 55 homes created across 6 developments.
In 2017, Brian's son Leon joined the team, and today, Leon and his wife Laura manage daily operations, while Brian and Claire continue to offer their valuable experience. To date, Dovetail Homes has created 80 exceptional properties across Sussex, with 10 receiving a prestigious Sussex Heritage Award. Projects are handled one at a time to ensure unwavering commitment and dedication to quality.
