Dewsbury & Proud was established in 1977 by Jerry Dewsbury and Tony Proud with a 6 Ton Mobile Crane. Since those early days, Dewsbury & Proud has expanded and embedded itself as the largest independent crane hire company in the Midlands, with over 40 cranes based at our four strategic depots: Wolverhampton, Stoke-On-Trent, Coventry, and Leicester, securing our customers a reliable service network throughout the Midlands. All of our operators, appointed persons, lifting supervisors, and support staff are qualified to recognised industry standards, and all employees have a personal training and development plan.
All of our cranes, lifting, and associated equipment are thoroughly examined and inspected by independent, third-party engineers. We offer manned or unmanned crane hire, along with transport and storage solutions across the West Midlands.
