The single storey extension to the rear of the property is going to completely transform the entire ground floor into a spacious fully usable space, which is a must for a family home such as this.

The build was engineered to re-work the inner layout of the property to not only create more of a livable, breathable space but to also bring the epic beach view indoors. The main technique employed to do this was to create a long corridor through the very centre of the property, this meant relocating an existing bathroom which previously had blocked this view. With an opened out kitchen/ dining/ living area the corridor, emphasised by the length ways direction of the new wood flooring drags the senses through the house and out in the direct view of the Solent. A truly inspiring piece of design. The architect "Anthony Brown of Dwell Projects" not only managed to modernise the building with its contemporary cladding and fresh render but he also managed to blend the old with the new so not to lose the character of the original building.
