Audley End House Restoration

Saffron Walden

Provided a bespoke access solution and large span, temporary roofing encapsulation for conservation specialists working on key features of the house, including exterior stone facades and windows. The installation was free-standing to minimise contact with the building structure, while maintaining a clean façade line and providing pedestrian and vehicle access. A GEDA Platform hoist was installed for safe material access.

David Attenborough Building Refurbishment

Provided a full access package internally and externally with a Layher Keder XL temporary roof to provide weather protection during the refurbishment of the former Arup Building. This was the largest temporary roof structure in Europe at the time. Challenges included working in a city centre with live surrounding buildings and limited crane access, requiring innovative tie solutions using RMD Soldiers and prefabricated steelwork.
