Cambridge

Large scale refurbishment of 17 Mill Lane, acting as principal contractor for The University of Cambridge. Works included roof covering renewal, carpentry repairs to roof structure, installation of a new fall arrest system, removal of old plant and ventilation equipment, asbestos removal, extensive internal refurbishment including new WC's, office fit-out work (decorations and carpet tiles), services upgrades including fire alarm package, cast guttering and downpipe replacements, and some window replacement works. Completed in 1.5 years, finishing in 2025.

Carried out the stone and conservation package on the Grade I listed Castle Keep refurbishment, known as the Gateway to Medieval England project. Works involved delicately tunnelling through and reinforcing the keep walls for new entrances, forming new pockets into historical flint walls for structural steels, relocating and reconstructing the boardman stone staircase, and new doorway constructions. All carried out under the watchful eye of archaeologists and engineers. All stonework and builders work was carried out in-house using their own masons, including the supply and installation of new matching stone.

The Master's Lodge Re-Reroofing Project

St Catharines College

Replacement of roof tiling, rainwater goods and roof repairs, along with redecoration and repair of the external windows and existing downpipes/SVP's. The in-house masonry team also sensitively repaired the existing chimneys and elevations, replacing any damaged bricks and repointing in traditional lime where necessary.
