A large conversion project from offices to 147 units, this included studios and 1 & 2 bedroom apartments. The construction was over 6 floors, the top 2 being a new build extension. Britannia's involvement included design of the apartment layout, firebreaks between floors and the smoke extraction shafts. All ceilings comprise of a firebreak then a dropped MF ceiling for services. We formed internal stud walls, party walls and corridors using The British Gypsum quiet wall SF system. Aspects of this job were plastered but the majority of the finished board was jointed.
