Founded in 2007 by two brothers in London, Benott initially offered wood floor sanding, finishing, and fitting services. After struggling to find suitable products, they began producing their own, starting on a farm in Uxbridge. By 2015, orders came from across England, and internationally from 2017.
In 2019, the company relocated to Hungary, acquiring a sawmill which enabled complete self-sufficiency from log to finished product. Benott combines traditional Hungarian woodworking with Anglo-Saxon waxing and polishing techniques, creating unique, high-quality interior elements. Their artisans' expertise, mastery of unique techniques, and continuous innovation result in products that are designed and crafted with vision and passion, often found in premium properties, hotels, restaurants, and public buildings worldwide.
