Established in 1876, Benfield and Loxley has a rich history rooted in Oxford, beginning with the restoration of New College Chapel. The company quickly became a trusted name, undertaking significant projects for Magdalen College School and subsequently working on numerous colleges and private schools across Oxford. A notable period saw the establishment of their own brickworks in 1900, which became the largest in the world at the time.
