Baskervilles was founded in 1916 by Mr George Baskerville, an experienced demolition and steeplejack contractor. The sales yard was opened in Martin Street, Cobridge, to sell salvaged items from demolition, recycling as much as possible. 5-acre site on Milburn Road in 1977, expanding the sales yard to include new and reclaimed products while continuing the tradition of recycling from demolition.
Under the current Managing Director, Graham Chadwick, who took over in 2002, the site has been developed while maintaining family traditions and good customer relations. The company has completed major demolition projects such as the JCB Cecilly Mills and renovation works at Hanley Park. Now entering its fourth generation, Baskervilles celebrates over 100 years of service.
The company offers a wide range of new and reclaimed materials for creating unique spaces, repairing existing features, and finding affordable furniture and curiosities. uk.
