Barguss Construction is a well-established, family-run firm of building contractors based in Burford, Oxfordshire. We specialise in the restoration, extension, conversion and maintenance of historic and listed buildings, from the smallest of cottages to substantial farmhouses, manor houses, country estates and churches. The company was founded by Alan Barguss in 2002, who has over 45 years of experience in the industry.
He is now a consultant, with his two sons Anthony and Simon managing the day-to-day operations. We work throughout West Oxfordshire and much of the Cotswolds, understanding the local vernacular and using traditional techniques and materials sympathetic to the area. As a medium-sized firm, we can undertake a variety of works, from routine maintenance and small extensions to projects worth several million pounds.
Each job, regardless of size, is personally supervised by a company director who serves as the main point of contact throughout the project.
