Operating from our head office near Poole in Dorset, Banyard Construction prides itself on delivering quality products at the highest standards, safely, to budget, and on programme, across all sectors of the industry. Our ethos is to work closely with our clients to understand their requirements, which has set us apart from the competition and reinforced our reputation with local architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers. This approach has also secured us clients as far as London through recommendation. The company was started by Keith Banyard in 1959, with early works involving his sons Martyn and Nick, and long-standing family friend Rex Brown.

Martyn became Managing Director until his retirement in 2017, followed by Nick until April 2024. The current board of Directors includes a third-generation Banyard, Nick's son Darren, alongside Directors Antony Legg and Lee Douch. Darren joined in 2001, progressing through site carpentry and management roles. Antony joined in 2013 with extensive experience in larger projects, achieving Chartered status.

Lee joined in 2016, starting as a carpenter and joiner before moving into quantity surveying and management roles. Banyard Construction is renowned for its extensive portfolio of high-quality projects, ranging from modern new-build houses and apartments, refurbishments, extensions, alterations, loft conversions, alterations to school buildings, church halls, and commercial developments. We cater for both private clients and developers, believing we can fulfil any client's expectations. Our commitment to the business and our team has been rewarded through loyalty, with some members having undertaken apprenticeships here and continuing their employment for over 30 years, passing their experience on to their children.
