B.& M. Babbage & Co. Ltd

The Babbage's established their general building contracting company in 1984, named after their parents Brian and Mary. Initially operating under the slogan 'for all your building needs', they covered domestic, commercial, shops, and civil engineering work. Over time, the business evolved, focusing on individual skills while retaining a family business feel.

In the late eighties, they expanded into the housing sector, providing house building services for individuals, development companies, and architect-led projects, followed by commercial, council, and school projects. They also developed a strong presence in the insurance market, undertaking works for fire damage reinstatement, subsidence repairs, and escape of water/flood damage. With a growing client base and adapting to market conditions, B&M Babbage has built a wide background and gained valuable experience.

They have been recognized with Masterbuilder of the Year Commendations and Awards, as well as Civic Society Awards for quality workmanship and landmark projects. The company also undertook construction support for projects featured on Carol Vorderman's 'Better Homes'. In 2006, they expanded their operations by acquiring a Walsall office, establishing a new team that mirrors the thinking of the Cheltenham office while forming its own identity.

This dual-office structure enables them to handle works across the West Midlands and provide the high level of service expected by modern clients and construction professionals. Their continued growth prioritizes service, training, and quality, without losing their traditional roots and family connections.
