Established in 2004, AsMATT began life providing thermal insulation but quickly moved into the specialist area of asbestos removal. With over 50 years of experience between our team members, we pride ourselves in offering a professional and efficient service backed up with all the appropriate health and safety licences. As a company, we're fully insured to undertake surveys and carry out the safe removal and disposal of any asbestos found in a domestic or commercial property.

Our team members are all highly skilled with varying degrees of experience, culminating in over 50 years. This varying level of experience assists us as a company to place the best trained staff on whatever site we're called to, to ensure our clients receive the highest level of knowledge the industry can offer. David and Kim decided to start up their own company as a way of supplying local businesses and the public with a more personal service.

This led them in many different directions with a variety of clients ranging from airports, council contracts, schools, demolition works, commercial sites, property management and private domestic clients. AsMATT holds numerous licences and accreditations, including being licensed by the Health and Safety Executive to undertake licensable asbestos work, ISO 9001:2015, Constructionline, SSIP accreditation, Environment Agency Waste Carriers Licence, SafeContractor, CHAS, Federation of Small Businesses, Essex Chamber of Commerce, and ACAD Quality Assurance. We are proud to have won several awards, including Global Energy News - Awards 2017 for Best Asbestos Removal Consultancy, a Service Excellence Award from Morrison Facilities Management Limited in 2008, and the BA award for 'Health and Safety Services/Asbestos 2005'.
