Bolton Street Building
The sixth building completed of nine under contract. Involved an up and over scaffold, resin repairs, and redecoration of previously painted areas. Issues with the front parapet were addressed, requiring taking down and rebuilding along with re-lining the box gutter and re-designing the outlet. The rear elevation saw old asbestos sheets removed from a small extension and a new lead roof installed, requiring extensive repairs inside and out.
Great Pulteney Street Buildings (Fourth and Fifth)
The fourth and fifth of nine buildings under a recent contract. Following scaffold erection, a DOFF clean was carried out to the stonework and a specialist clean to the terracotta columns. Masonry and timber repairs were undertaken across both elevations before a full redecoration of the windows and shop fronts. New ironmongery was installed to the main front doors. Works were also carried out via abseil to the lightwell, including decoration and repairs to glazed bricks and timber windows. Redecorations were completed to the rear fire escape and main entrance stairwell, with the floor sanded and resealed.
Great Pulteney Street Building (Third)
The third of nine completed buildings. After an initial DOFF clean of the entrance stonework and redecoration of the shop front, a full redecoration of the communal staircase was completed. Flooring and nosings in the staircase were replaced. Fire stopping was carried out to the risers as identified in the FRA, and a new tea point was installed for the concierge staff.
