Alpha Pump prepared the sub-floor (over site) with a 1200 gauge membrane, installed 100mm insulation and covered with a 500 gauge membrane, also installing perimeter insulation for expansion. They supplied and fitted underfloor heating for 55m2 and supplied a FAST drying cement based screed, pumped and laid to perfection. The entire job was completed in 1 day.
The floor was badly out of level. An ultra-thin liquid screed was used to achieve a level floor, going down as low as 12mm and levelling from 12mm to 110mm over 35m2. Screed pumped in and laid by them.
Anhydrite based liquid screed was used to cover underfloor heating in two separate extensions on the same building. The screed was pumped and laid to meet existing floor levels.
A concrete pump was used to place concrete into footings for the foundation of a new build house. The concrete was laid using a laser to achieve the best possible level. They will be returning to supply and lay the sub floor, preparation, underfloor heating, and liquid screed.
Having had an extension built by a rogue builder who left them with an uneven floor unsuitable for tiling, they were put in touch with Tom of Alphapump Ltd. Tom explained the whole process of how long to put the finishing screed down, what it would look like as it dried, and how long it would take to fully dry. The job was fantastic after the mess they had been left in.

Thank you for the work undertaken on the floor in what will be a long gallery. The screeding to cover the underfloor heating makes the room look pristine. His builders are impressed with the result and it provides an excellent foundation for the limestone floor. He is also impressed with all the modern technology used to calculate accurately the material required. They were tidier than his builders and there was nothing left for him to clear up.
