Along the Grain is a family-run business with over 25 years of experience as commercial and domestic flooring contractors and timber suppliers. We specialise in all aspects of timber flooring restoration, including floor sanding, installation, reclaimed and historic timbers, French Polishing, and timber supply. We provide our specialist flooring restoration services to a wide range of clients, working alongside architects, designers, conservators, building contractors, and residential clients.

Our extensive flooring restoration knowledge and expertise is invaluable when working with Historic Royal Palaces on their renovation projects for the most prestigious historic buildings in the country, allowing us to produce some of the finest work in the industry. Our team are passionate about timber flooring restoration and recognise the importance flooring has within our clients' projects, and the skills required to ensure they meet their requirements. Our professional flooring restoration services always ensure that projects are completely bespoke for clients' individual needs, and we work closely to fully understand their vision and design.
