AML is a Chartered Building Company with over four decades of specialist experience in residential refurbishment within central London. Our longevity and experience in construction management covers every aspect of projects from large scale engineering to bespoke joinery with focus always on buildability and the highest quality finishes. Our internally trained Construction, Contracts and Site Managers work alongside exceptionally skilled in-house craftspeople in teams dedicated to a specific project from start to finish.

Many of our sixty employees have been with us through the decades and much of our business is for returning clients and by word of mouth. AML takes the project through each stage from pre-construction to post contract maintenance. We collaborate with the professional team for every project, dedicating a Quantity Surveyor and Contracts Manager to each individual scheme.
Contract documentation is interrogated in depth enabling the intricacies and demands of the design to be realised. Through careful co-ordination and integration of the flow of information this combined approach ensures that exemplary standards are achieved.
Working closely with conservation experts we repaired and restored this precious 1770 Grade II* Robert Adam house. The principal rooms regained their grandeur and whilst remaining faithful to the historic building, extensive works to the closet wing introduced a double height reading room and further bedrooms and bathrooms. Our specialists reinstated parquet and marble floors alongside bespoke joinery, all integrated into the existing building to complement the opulent interiors for this breathtaking and unique family home.
