Established in 2003 by Gary and Glen Williams, 3G Joinery & Shopfitting has grown from its origins in the shopfitting and retail market to become a respected and reliable quality joinery business. Initially operating from South Yorkshire, the company relocated to Leeds in 2005 and now occupies three factories equipped with state-of-the-art manufacturing machinery and spray polishing facilities. With a strong management infrastructure and a dedicated workforce, 3G Joinery has built an impressive portfolio of repeat business clientele.

Install of solid surface HIMACS and carrier system. Thermoforming of 1000 sheets of HIMACS solid surface to a number of radius's across three floors. All seamless jointing except movement joints as specified. CNC manufacture for fixing systems for a bespoke install. All manufacture carried out in our workshop, the site install by the 3G site teams for BAM construction.

Supply and install of a feature counter and wall. Setting out of the counter and wall to ensure all elements worked and could be constructed in the workshop and on site. Using Corian we created the feature wall with varying depths of coloured panels formed to the radius of the wall. The counter also out of Corian was formed by heating the material to achieve the curved seamless design.

Supply and install of a bespoke feature furniture. Conducting site surveys for the bespoke elements of the project which included seating, feature walls, servery stations, high tables and a feature reception/servery counter. This was carried out to ensure the accuracy and ensure quality for a high end fit out. We also worked up our own suppliers to deliver Dekton worktops including the curved counter. Due to the bespoke nature of the finish required over 100ltr of PU Satin water based lacquer was used to complete the works.

Manufacture of FOSS

Manufacture of HIMACS and carrier system to the feature drum. Due to the complex and bespoke nature of the works 3G had to create new and innovative ways to manufacture. By creating templates, formers and jigs we were able to thermoforming sheets of HIMACS to the correct and corresponding radius for accurate site installation and delivery of the finished product. With the use of the CNC we were also able to pre drill and machine fixings to aid in site install ensuring accuracy and speed for when fitting. With panels individually labelled and packed in our own in-house delivery boxes it ensured a safe and scheduled delivery.

Supply only of various elements on a number of fit outs. Using Solid Surface, hard woods, laminated boards and MRMDF we have now supplied a number of restaurants to the brand standard. Works include servery counters with backs bars, dedicated waiter stations, saloon style doors, feature wall paneling and high level detail as well as doors and frames. With our own working drawings we have been able to standardize and refine key elements for the fit outs to ensure when a new store is opened the brand standards are met along with our own quality values.

Full fit out of areas for a secure children's unit. The furniture required had to be robust and anti ligature to keep up with the high demands that furniture comes under in these sometimes challenging environments. By researching and applying the techniques used for these strict requirements 3G was able to create purposefully design lead items that allowed normal day to day activities to take place in a safe and secure environment for staff and students.

Fitting of decorative features to the food court consisting of wall paneling, timber bulkheads and the communal spaces including food waste disposal. Taking a lead on design and the manufacture of the wall paneling for the food court, 3Gs solution was a weave effect solid walnut cladding, the design went around the whole of the food court creating a modern and stylish social space. 3G was later asked to assist and carry out other works around the shopping centre, one in particular was the corridors again been involved in the design process of the feature walls, which became fondly know as "The Mop Sticks". It was the part of the mop sticks which created a link back to the industrial past of Bradford in a suitable way.

P22 Scheme - ARCU, Maternity, Hearing And Balance

Various fitout elements for a number of schemes running at the same time with refurbishments to existing wards. Works ranged from bespoke counters, IPS systems, install of manufacture of varying units as well as fitting hygienic wall panelling. Our site teams where a constant presence on all schemes for the install of works. Our contracts managers where involved throughout all stages from site surveys to been on hand at site meetings. Our production teams also worked to produce a solid surface counter and the effective manufacture of robust base and wall units.

Wigan And Leigh - College Learning Resource Zone

Build and fit a variety of bespoke furniture ranging from feature screens, work stations and a statement shelving unit. Site challenges meant every piece had to be designed and made to be taken flat pack for delivery, onsite install and construction to help our on site teams. The feature shelving unit was set out with our design team so every piece we knew would be able to be constructed on site. To achieve the designs from the client we worked with our own suppliers to develop metal work elements for powder coated cantilevered legs and channels to support and form the feature solid Ash screens.

Supply and fit various rooms with bespoke base and walls units with post formed worktops, as well as a bespoke Corian counter. 3G also supplied bespoke seating throughout the new facility to bedroom corridor and communal areas. Our experience within challenging and high dependency area we where able to supply robust and safe furniture using anti ligature features. The seating further designed by our setting out team added further supports to shaped seating. Our site teams where a constant presence and worked effectively to meet handover and install all items.
